I
generally find it annoying when bloggers talk about how something is
sooooo easy to make you'd have to be craaaaazy to buy it pre-made. BUT, if I
were ever going to say that myself, it would be about taco seasoning.
(Although I still won't say it because: annoying!)
When
I make ground beef tacos, I generally make 2 lbs of meat at once and
immediately freeze half to have around for taco-mergencies. Which
happen.

To make up a bulk batch of mix (enough for 12 lbs), the proportions are:
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup cumin
1/4 cup paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup salt
1 T cayenne pepper
To make tacos, follow above directions but using a heaping 3 T of the mix per pound of meat.
